Can you continue to use other moisturizing and eye creams in the morning and facial scrubs and masks?
Jun. 8, 2012 by Andrea White
It is not necessary to use scrubs and masks because over a fairly short period of time you'll find that your face is smoother and softer. NeriumAD has a day cream as well so that you get the benefits of NeriumAD 24/7. But, yes you can continue to use your other skin care products. Nerium should take the place of whatever you typically apply to clean skin before going to bed. Otherwise.. it's business as usual. 🙂

Can you use Nerium during the day?
Jun. 8, 2012 by Andrea White
Nerium was developed as a night treatment. It doesn't contain any sort of SPF to be used during the day. You'll want to rinse it off in the morning before using your SPF product. However, NeriumAD also has a day cream so you get the benefits of Nerium 24/7.

Do I apply the Nerium Day Cream to a damp face?
Apr. 25, 2014 by Kathleen, NY
Yes. After thoroughly washing your face in the evening, do not dry it. Leave it damp. Put Nerium AD on your fingers and work it onto your damp face. Let your face dry and then you're ready to curl up in bed.

Do you need to avoid sun exposure when using this product?
Jun. 8, 2012 by Alice
No you do not. NeriumAD is a night treatment and is applied before bed. You would use your normal sunscreen as you usually do when outdoors during the day.

Hi, why is hydrogenated vegetable oil used , after we hear how bad it is for our health? Everything that is put on our skin is absorbed into our body. I am interested in this product, seeing the results, but health and safety come first.
Jun. 8, 2012 by Debbie Wallace
Hydrogenated oils are not being absorbed into the bloodstream like the trans-fats found in food. Your skin cells can gain and lose moisture but this is not related to the digestive system and therefore using these oils on the skin is harmless. Hydrogenation improves stability, texture, reduces the acidity and makes oils more resistant to oxidizing.

Hi. I am trying Nerium ad for a week and i forgot to wash my face with water this morning. I did wash my face with my cleanser and then did my morning routine but usually i wash my face with water when i first get up to get the Nerium off. Is there any bad side affect if i forgot this morning? Thanks.
May. 16, 2014
No, that has happened to others. Although you should rinse it off in the morning, it won't cause a problem if you forget on occasion.

How do I apply Nerium?
Jun. 8, 2012 by Andrea Evinston
To apply Nerium you will need to wash your face as you normally do before going to bed. Pat some of the moisture off of your face, but leave it damp (not dripping wet). Pump four pumps of the product onto your fingers and gently rub it all over your clean face and neck from your forehead down, being sure to carefully and gently rub it around your eyes as well. It will not absorb into the skin like a lotion, but will sit on it and dry slowly (in about 5 or so minutes). You'll feel it tighten your skin. In the morning, rinse it off completely with water and go about your morning routine. This product will replace your night cream.

Note: Some people have a tendency to think, "If a little is good, a lot is better." You don't need to use more than four pumps.

How long does the neriumAD cream last?
Jun. 8, 2012 by Sarah G.
One bottle will last you a minimum of 30 days if used nightly.

I just started using this product and it feels a bit strange on my face. Is this normal?
Apr. 25, 2013 by Selma Anchors
If you are not used to having anything on your face at night, it will feel a little strange at first. When you apply Nerium AD, be sure that your face is just damp, not fully wet. Use about 4 pumps and rub it on your damp face. (I use five pumps because I also put it on my damp neck.) If your face is too wet it will take a while to dry and will feel a bit sticky. If it's just damp when you start, you won't have any wet feeling on your face when you crawl into bed. Then lay back, close your eyes and rest knowing that Nerium AD is working for you while you sleep.

I was told you cannot use products with any kind of glycolic acid and get the full results with Nerium, what is a good facial cleanser and oil free moisturizer? Can you use Glycolic products and Nerium AD?
Jul. 11, 2012 by Lori Byers, Indiana
You don't need any product with glycolic acid in it. Regular use of Nerium AD will result in smooth, soft skin. Depending on the strength, products with glycolic acid can actually burn some people with sensitive skin. There's no need to use harsh products when you have a product that gently produces results.

There are many good, gentle facial cleansers and lotions that do not have glycolic acid. Although we can't recommend one product over another, We suggest that you look at the labels to see what ingredients are in the cleansers or lotions. Try different products to see what works best for you... and be sure to keep your eyes open for news from Nerium.

I'm 20 yrs old and having skin acne problems, does Nerium help clear out acne and prevent future breakouts if used daily?
Jun. 8, 2012 by Bianca Rodriguez, Texas
We have had numerous customers report dramatic improvements after using Nerium AD daily. You can see customer before and after pictures and results on my website. Pretty amazing! We can't guarantee exactly what your personal results will be.. but most customers do see huge improvements in a short amount of time. 🙂 However, please note the Nerium does not recommend using this if you have bad acne. There are wonderful products out there that are developed specifically for the purpose of clearing up acne. After your acne has cleared up, NeriumAD would be a great option to maintain healthy skin.

I've been using Nerium for a couple of months and my breakouts healed and I noticed a difference in the lines on my face. But, when I stopped using it my face started breaking out again. Is this something that I have to always use to get the best results?
Apr. 25, 2013 by Shirley R., NC
It sounds like you have had excellent results, so think of this as a benefit. Once you find a skin care product that works, it's a good thing to stick with it. If you had bad breakouts before using Nerium AD and then once again after stopping, but not during use, then Nerium AD is working well for you. Keep using it to keep getting great results.

I've been using Nerium for about 2 months now and I'm breaking out with tiny little bumps on my face...is this normal or am I having an allergic reation?
Sep. 26, 2014 by Courtney, MI
As is the case with any skin care, certain people may have (or may develop over time) skin sensitivities and allergies. When using a new skin care product, it is possible to break out at the beginning. However, it is not normal to break out in bumps after successfully using Nerium AD for a while. Take a break from using it for a week or two and see if that makes a difference. If your skin clears up, that might indicate a sensitivity to Nerium AD.
